Cub Scout Pack 5 is a growing organization of boys (between the ages of 7 to 11 years old).
We are a non-denominational Cub Scout Pack chartered by The Colusa Lions Club.
Our meetings are held on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Pack 5 is part of the Buttes Area District; BSA Golden Empire Council, California.
The Pack is divided up by age groups
(or school grades) into Dens:
1st Grade: Tiger Cub, (+/- 7 to 8 yrs old)
2nd Grade: Wolf Cub, (+/- 8 to 9 yrs old)
3rd Grade: Bear Cub, (+/- 9 to 10 yrs old)
4th Grade: Webelos, (+/- 10 to 11 yrs old)
5th Grade: Arrow of Light Webelos, (+/- 11 to 12 yrs old)
The scouting program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development, responsibilty, respect, reverence and physical fitness.
Parental involvement is encouraged and the activities and lessons learned by the boys are made that much richer because of the interaction between cubs, parents, leaders and friends.
